Holder of both a doctorate from the CNAM (Paris) in metrology and physical systems and a university habilitation thesis in physics from the Faculty of Science in Tunis. Prof. Walid TOUAYAR<\/strong> was previously a research and training engineer at INM-CNAM-Paris, responsible for setting up the French national reference in the field of radiometry. Since the end of 1997, he has been teaching metrology as a university professor at INSAT in Tunis. He has been head of the evaluation team at TUNAS since 2000. Since 2023, he has been an international auditor for the Commission des Titres d'Ing\u00e9nieur, CTI-France.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

After extensive industrial experience as a project manager, Dr. Abd\u00e9rafi CHARKI \nis currently a professor at POLYTECH Angers, the engineering school of the University of Angers, where he teaches mechanics, quality, metrology and dependability, among other subjects. He has contributed to several projects on characterizing the behavior and performance of systems and components, and on assessing uncertainties and reliability.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Until 2006, Dr. Georges BONNIER<\/strong>\u00a0was Deputy Director of the \"Institut National de M\u00e9trologie\" (LNE-INM France), and Head of the Temperature Laboratory. Author of numerous scientific articles in thermal metrology, Dr. Bonnier was responsible for the implementation of national references for thermal metrology in France. Now retired, he works actively as an international metrology consultant and is also very active in the association CAFMET<\/a>, in order to develop metrology in Africa.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

After a double training in Sciences (ENS) and in management (Sciences Po, CHEDE), Prof. Marc HIMBERT<\/strong> has been teaching metrology for 30 years as a Professor at CNAM (France). He was for a long time in charge of the Joint Metrology Laboratory LNE - CNAM. He chairs the Laboratories section of COFRAC (Comit\u00e9 Fran\u00e7ais d'Accr\u00e9ditation), the C2 commission of IUPAP (The International Union of Pure and Applied Physics) and the assembly of CNAM chairs.
